Ecco i Muppet con Jimmy Fallon che cantano The Weight

Venerdì scorso i Muppet sono tornati in televisione come ospiti dell'ultima puntata del Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, talk show americano condotto da Jimmy Fallon, conduttore americano che passerà al Tonight Show dopo l'addio di Jay Leno.

Il Dr. Denti e gli Eletric Mayhem con Baker, il Dr. Bunsen, Scooter, Walter, Pepe, Fozzie, Rizzo, Robin la rana, Gonzo e Camilla e lo Chef svedese, con la partecipazione straordinaria di Kermit e Miss Piggy, sono stati protagonisti proprio dell'ultimo atto del Late Show, che si è concluso con la dipartita di Fallon dal Late Night Show per entrare negli studi del Tonight Show, e hanno cantato un classico della canzone americana, The Weight dei The Band.

I Muppet sono già comparsi nel Late Night Show con Jimmy Fallon cantando One, ed in più di altre 10 apparizioni. E' stato un bel gesto quello di Fallon di essere i protagonisti del suo ultimo waltz al Late Night Show, anche se chiaramente è per promuovere Muppets Most Wanted.

Il film porta l'intera gang dei Muppet per un tour globale, a fare il tutto esaurito nei migliori teatri delle destinazioni europee più eccitate, tra cui Berlino, Madrid e Londra. Ma i guai seguono i Muppet oltreoceano, come si trovano involontariamente coinvolti in un colpo criminale internazionale guidato da Constantine, il Criminale Numero Uno al Mondo e sosia di Kermit, e il suo codardo compagno Dominic (Ricky Gervais), o anche Numero Due. I Muppet incontreranno anche Nadya (Tina Fey), un'esuberante guardia giurata e Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell), un agente dell'Interpol.

Muppets Most Wanted è un film live-action prodotto e distribuito dalla Walt Disney Pictures, in uscita il 21 Marzo 2014 negli Stati Uniti, e il 10 Luglio 2014 in Italia.

Il film è diretto da James Bobin, scritto dal regista insieme a Nicholas Stoller, e intrepretato da Ricky Gervais,Tina Fey e Ty Burrell, insieme a cameo di Tom Hiddleston, Christoph Waltz, Célin Dion, Lady Gaga e altri ancora.
La colonna sonora è di Christophe Beck, mentre le canzoni sono scritte e composte da Bret McKenzie.
